Hi, I'm Beth

Becoming a writer was a natural extension of my love of language, words, and images—and how those things can come together to communicate ideas. (I also have a persnickety attention to detail and am a stickler for grammar and design that gives my work that professional polish—an added bonus!)
A bit about my background
A native of Ann Arbor, Michigan, I received my master’s degree in art history at the University of Victoria, British Columbia, traveled to Southeast Asia, studied Thai language, and published a book, The Lord of the Golden Tower. After landing a position at Young & Rubicam in San Francisco, I found the ideal way to put my language + artistic sensibilities to work. From there, I became a copywriter and honed my design skills. The rest, as they say, is history. (If you’re interested in more background, feel free to peruse my CV.)
Writing—your style
As a writer, I’ve had the opportunity to work with many clients in lots of different industries to promote their products and services, including healthcare, technology, insurance, finance, education, and more. With such a varied background, I’m a bit like a chameleon with the distinctive ability to easily change styles and write in the voice of my clients (so it sounds like you, only better).
One-stop shop
I love writing. I also have a knack for designing and have created ads, posters, newsletters, and more. I collaborate with designers on more involved projects depending on the client’s needs. In this way, Beth Adamo Creative is your one-stop shop.
I welcome the opportunity to help your project succeed!
Let's talk.

Let's talk.
I’ve worked with a variety of freelance copywriters over my past 16 years at Johnson & Wales University, and Beth Adamo is the best one I’ve ever worked with. Whenever I have a writing/editing project, I can count on her to get it done well and on time. She is proactive and asks insightful questions that help complete projects and elevate copy to another level. Best of all, with her on the job, I have peace of mind. I’ll be hiring her again. Beth Adamo joined us as part of our expansion effort this year, and quickly became an invaluable resource streamlining the flow of communication, spearheading original design work, and enhancing our social media presence. Beth led the charge in all aspects of promotions and fundraising. Organized and energetic, she quickly became our lynchpin for almost every aspect of the program. I can honestly say that without her our organization would not be as successful as we find ourselves at this juncture. |
